Collin Michael Oetting of Concordia, Missouri was born on August 19, 1997 in Rolla, Missouri to Kimberly Loughridge Oetting and Michael Spangler and passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the age of 23 years.
Collin lived in Concordia, Missouri most of his life and was a 2016 graduate of Saint Paul Lutheran High School.
Following graduation, he attended Concordia University Nebraska in Seward, Nebraska and East Central Community College in the Rolla area.
He was currently employed at Heins Family Farms in rural Higginsville, Missouri and was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Concordia, Missouri.
He is survived by his parents, Kimberly Loughridge Oetting and husband Sean of Concordia, Missouri and Michael Spangler and wife Jennifer of St. James, Missouri; three brothers, Lukas and Logan Oetting of Concordia, Missouri and Jacob Spangler of St. James, Missouri; sister, Mykayla Spangler of Utah; grandparents, Pete Loughridge of St. Louis, Missouri, Anna Loughridge of St. James, Missouri, Brenda Spangler of Appleton City, Missouri and Steve and Sharon Oetting of Concordia, Missouri; great grandmothers, Dorothy Heimsoth of Concordia, Missouri and Margaret Huffman of Fulton, Missouri; girlfriend, Sarah Van Norman of St. James, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, January 4, 2021 at the Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Concordia, Missouri. Face masks required at all services and social distancing observed.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Concordia, Missouri with Pastor Michael Pottschmidt and Pastor Andrew Lehenbauer officiating.
Burial followed in the church cemetery.
