The Phelps-Maries County Health Department is asking the community to take a survey to gather public opinion of COVID-19 vaccinations. Information will then be used to help the department in addressing questions or concerns from the public while vaccinations are rolled out later this year.
Participation is completely voluntary and survey takers will be asked a short series of questions about their views on the COVID-19 pandemic and the vaccination. The survey takes approximately 15 minutes, and will help the department as it prepares its information push on how vaccinations work, why they are safe, and to address any public concern regarding vaccinations and COVID-19.
The survey can be found on the Phelps-Maries County Health Department Facebook page or at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfDkdQt-dslAfnXGRhJO6bPvPEtzYa7ypJoke1AedRek5XKCA/viewform?vc=0&c=0&w=1&flr=0.
“Your participation in this survey is completely voluntary. If you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the survey at any point,” the department said. “Your opinion is important to us. Your survey responses will be strictly confidential and data collected will only be used to guide our public education mission.”
If the survey taker provides their name and email address on the survey where indicated, they will be added to an email distribution list to receive vaccination information.
