Georgia Ann Cash Vance


    Georgia Ann Vance of St. James, Missouri was born September 8, 1970 in Paragould, Akanasas to Jerry Dean Hill and Luetta Neal and passed away Friday January 15, 2021 at the age of 50 years.


    A graduate of Senath-Hornersville High School. She went on to earn a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Business at SIU in Carbondale, Illinois.
    After college Georgia worked for Family Counseling Center and later owned a day care in Senath, Missouri. Georgia served as the Assistant Administrator for DAEOC Head Start for many years.
    She married Michael Don Cash.
    Georgia loved the outdoors. She loved to go fishing for crappie at Reelfoot Lake and also enjoyed fishing at Lake Scioto in St. James, Missouri. Deer hunting was another favorite of Georgia’s. She loved to be out early in the woods and enjoy nature. She always liked to be busy sewing, crafting and making Christmas stockings. Her kids and grandkids kept her busy with ball games being her favorite past time.
    She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Hill; husband, Michael Cash; and son, Casey Cash.
    She is survived by her mother, Luetta Neal of St. James, Missouri; one daughter, Tyler (Cash) Wagnon and husband Tyler Wagnon of St. James, Missouri; one sister, Kimberly McAnally of St. James, Missouri; three granddaughters, Peighten, Cash and Hunter; other relatives and friends.
    Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.
    Funeral service were held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at the First Church of God in St. James, Missouri with Don Carson officiating.
    Burial was held at noon on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett, Misosuri.
    Pallbearers were Tyler Wagnon, Matt Weindel, Aaron Mays, Ben Knuckles, Presley Isom and Kris Isom.
