Joshua Thomas Turnbaugh, of Rolla, Missouri was born on February 13, 1978 in Columbia, Missouri to Joseph and Valerie (Magruder) Turnbaugh and passed away Friday, January 29, 2021 at the age of 42 years.
After his father’s death, he was raised by his mother and Greg Black.
Josh was full of life and took every opportunity to love big and live big.
In August 2011 Josh married Laura Beth Myers.
In May 2017, Josh graduated with his Masters in Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner along side his younger sister. Josh spent most of his adult life caring for geriatric patients.
He was intelligent, witty, confident and a genuine soul. He loved making others laugh.
He loved Kansas City Chiefs football and Cardinals baseball.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Turnbaugh in 1978; and grandmother, Marjorie Moutray.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Turnbaugh of Rolla, Missouri; mother, Valerie Turnbaugh-Chapple and husband Philip of Rolla, Missouri; three children, Harper Turnbaugh, Sydney Turnbaugh and Gibson Turnbaugh, all of Rolla, Missouri; father, Greg Black of Rolla, Missouri; one brother, Joseph Turnabaugh of Springfield, Missouri; sister, Sammy Radcliff of St. James, Missouri; niece, Abby Radcliff of St. James, Missouri; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Albert and Connie Myers of Rolla, Missouri; brothers-in-law, Paul Myers of Rolla, Missouri and Todd Myers of St. Louis, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Greentree Christian Church in Rolla, Missouri.
Funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at the Greentree Christian Church in Rolla, Missouri.
Interment followed in the Ozark Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
