Frances Mae Sutter was born on July 18, 1932 in Crawford County, Missouri to Omar and Gertrude (nee Howard) Spurgeon and passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at the age of 88 years.
On August 23, 1952 she married Charles William Sutter Jr. at the Trinity Chapel in Cuba, Missouri.
Frances enjoyed traveling, and visiting flea markets. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh, beautifully tended rose bushes and her smile.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Omar and Gertrude Spurgeon; three brothers, Jim Spurgeon, Gene Spurgeon and Don Spurgeon.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Sutter; two children, Deborah Grob (Dennis) and William Sutter (Sarah); four grandchildren, Tonya Drumm (Scott), Amber Vinson, William Sutter (Rachel), and Elizabeth Knight (Chandler); six great grandchildren, Hannah, Halee, William, Ava, Zoe and Benjamin; sister, Ruth Hendrickson of Owensville, Missouri; two sisters-in-law, Betty Spurgeon of Owensville, Missouri and Nancy Spurgeon of Cuba, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Due to COVID restrictions, private family services were held.
Burial was in the Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery in Branson, Missouri.
