Carole Rebecca Blankenship of Sullivan, Missouri, was born in Sullivan, Missouri on January 5, 1973 to Wayne Bosek and Etta Mae Wilkson and passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at the age of 48 years.
She grew up and attended school in the Sullivan area, including Saint Anthony Catholic School and Spring Bluff. Carole raised her children as a single mother, while working full time at the Circle N in Bourbon for 15-20 years.
Later in life, Carole married Dean Blankenship, on June 5, 2013, while overlooking the Missouri River in Hermann, Missouri. Together, they shared many special memories and simply enjoyed just being in each other’s company. They especially loved to spend time outdoors, fishing, hunting and camping. Carole loved to find arrowheads, make dream catchers and playing pool.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Etta; sister, Judy Spoon; father-in-law, Bill Blankenship; and brother-in-law, Steve Blankenship.
She is survived by her husband, Dean Blankenship of Sullivan, Missouri; two daughters, Aschlea Melton and husband Ronnie of Springfield, Missouri and Jenna Limberopoulos and husband Caleb of Sullivan, Missouri; son, Michael Dean and wife Tiffany of Sullivan, Missouri; six grandchildren, Elizabeth and Katy Dean, Lucas Dean, Kinnley and Presley Limberopoulos and Maesen Melton; brother, Darrel LaPlant and wife Patty of Sullivan, Missouri; three brothers-in-law, Kevin Blankenship and wife Sue, David Blankenship and wife Shelby, and Paul Blankenship and wife Mandy; three sisters-in-law, Kathy Janish and husband John, Diane Moss and husband Bill and Pauline Blankenship; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 9-10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 26, 2021 at the Eaton Funeral Home Chapel in Sullivan, Missouri.
Funeral Mass was held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 26, 2021 at the Saint Anthony Catholic Church in Sullivan, Missouri.
