Jacqueline Joyce “Jackie” Freeman of Jefferson City, Missouri, formerly from St. James, Missouri, was born June 19, 1939 in Illinois to Arthur Donald and Opal Irene Milligan Freeman and passed away May 14, 2021 at the age of
She married Robert Allen Duckworth Sr.
Jackie was a Registered Nurse and worked in many local hospitals and nursing homes. She was a very strong lady.
After her husband was killed in an auto accident, she raised five children on her own.
She had many hobbies and had a great love for dogs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Opal Milligan; husband, Robert Allen Duckworth Sr. in 1970; one daughter, Deanea Joyce Johnson; one brother, Wilber Freeman; and two sisters, Cloe Ann Wood and Shirley Freeman.
She is survived by one son, Robert Allen Duckworth Jr. and wife Claudine of Fredericksburg, Virginia; daughters, Debra Kay Disser of Holt Sumitt, Missouri, Denise Diane Anders of Holt Sumitt, Missouri and Donna SueAnn Duckworth of Cherokee Village, Arkansas; 10 grandchildren, Julie Adams, Bryan Disser, Jessica Jackson, Robert Duckworth III, Tyler Duckworth, Jonathan Johnson, Jennifer Dudenhoeffer, Jeriod Duckworth, Anthony DiSalvatore, Brandon DiSalvatore; 13 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 10-11 a.m. on Monday, May 17, 2021 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri.
Funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 17, 2021 at the Jones Funeral Home in St. James, Missouri with Alan Wynn officiating.
Pallbearers were Brian Disser, Jeriod Duckworth, Brandon DiSalvatore, Dominic Adams, Blake Anders Morton and Brennin Anders Morton.
Burial was at the St. James Cemetery.
