Robert C. “Bob” Heisman Sr. of Cuba, Missouri was born on Friday, September 1941 in Washfield, Illinois to Charles and Viola (Richardson) Heisman and passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at the age of 79 years.
Bob married Linda C. Henson on November 11, 1989 in Mt. Olive, Illinois.
Bob retired as a truck driver from Yellow Freight, after 27 years of dedicated service.
Bob loved taking care of his horses and was a Past President of the Saddle Club of Cuba, Missouri. He enjoyed fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Viola Heisman; two sisters, Kay Jones and Beverly Bergman; and one great grandson, Chandler Elliot Werley.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Heisman of Cuba, Missouri; six children, Laura and husband David Cox of Mt. Olive, Illinois, Tammy Heisman of California, Robert “Chad” and wife Mary Heisman of Cuba, Missouri, Denise Kays of Lebanon, Missouri, Heather and husband John Shortell of Richland, Missouri and Mia Heisman of Cuba, Missouri; one sister, Patty Dooley of Litchfield, Illinois; one brother, Larry and wife Juanita Heisman of Litchfield, Illinois; one brother-in-law, Mel Bergman of Litchfield, Illinois; 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; other relatives and friends.
In keeping with his wishes, Bob was cremated.
A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at the Saddle Club 408 Saddle Club Rd. at Cuba, Missouri.
