Deborah Ann “Debbie” Herschelman


    Deborah Ann “Debbie” Herschelman of Troy, Missouri was born on Thursday, August 6, 1959 in Rolla, Missouri to Paul J. and Glenna (Blue) Myers and passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the age of 61 years.


    Debbie married Eric Herschelman on December 18, 1998 in St. Charles, Missouri.
    Debbie worked as a server for both the Blue Owl in Kimmswick, Missouri and for Olive Garden in both Bedford, Indiana and Wentzville, Missouri for many years.
    She enjoyed being outside doing yardwork and gardening. She loved to have family gatherings and kept her camera ready to take lots of pictures. Christmas season was a favorite time of the year where she could display her beautifully decorated Christmas trees with her collection of Hallmark ornaments. She also enjoyed sewing, baking and making crafts.
    Debbie and her family welcomed little girl into their heart and home for a few years as her adoptive family and Debbie always called Brianna her sweet baby girl.
    She was preceded in death by her father, Paul J. Myers; infant son, Daniel Jacob Herschelman; and father-in-law, Wilbur Herschelman.
    She is survived by her husband, Eric Herschelman of Troy, Missouri; four children, Heather and husband Mike Obremski of Bourbon, Missouri, Jennifer and husband Chris Wackel of Aurora, Colorado, Emily Herschelman and Kaleb Herschelman, both of Troy, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Alexis, Connor, Madison, Isabella, Jillian, Chloe and Evan; mother, Glenna and husband Bob Taylor of Wentzville, Missouri; one sister, Paula Whitley of St. Charles, Missouri; three brothers, Mike and wife Kelley Myers of Cuba, Missouri, Patrick J. “P.J.” Myers and companion Megan of Cuba, Missouri and Rick and wife Sandi Miller of Hartsburg, Missouri; mother-in-law, Anna Lee Herschelman of Evansville, Indiana; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, David and wife Kelleye Herschelman of Dalton City, Illinois, Scott and wife Trudy Herschelman of Evansville, Indiana and Elaine and husband Louis Cady of Evansville, Indiana; other relatives and friends.
    Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at the Mizell Funeral Home in Cuba, Missouri.
    Funeral service was held at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 28, 2021 at the Mizell Funeral Home in Cuba, Missouri with Pastor Bill Stack officiating.
    Interment followed at the Meramec Hills Cemetery in Cuba, Missouri.
