Kathy Jean House of Cuba, Missouri was born on Thursday, May 31, 1951 in Sullivan, Missouri to David and Violet (Chapman) Thomas and passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at the age of 70 years.
Kathy married Louis E. “Luke” House on December 27, 1969 in Ballwin, Missouri.
During her working career, Kathy worked for Brown Shoe Company, Chrysler, Wal-Mart and Cuba Manor. She was a member of Trinity Chapel Presbyterian Church.
She always kept busy doing something and she found great joy in being outdoors, doing yard work and fishing. She loved traveling and helping the ladies in the kitchen at church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David Thomas and Violet J. Farris; husband, Louis “Luke” House; one sister, Chris White; one brother, Richard Thomas; step father, Larry Farris; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Leonard House, Michael House, John (Linda) House, Jacqulyn House and Barb Thomas.
She is survived by two children, Tracey and husband Ron Hughes and Bob House, all of Cuba, Missouri; three brothers, James Thomas of Robertsville, Missouri, Jeff and wife Marie Thomas of Villa Ridge, Missouri and Craig Thomas of San Antonio, Texas; one sister, Karen Henry of Ballwin, Missouri; step mother, Patricia Thomas of Ballwin, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Barb House of Cuba, Missouri; one brother-in-law, Robert White of Cuba, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 10-11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at the Mizell Funeral Home in Cuba, Missouri.
Funeral service was held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at the Mizell Funeral Home in Cuba, Missouri with Pastor Donna Schiro officiating.
Interment followed at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Cuba, Missouri.
