The St. James Chamber of Commerce is still accepting sponsors wanting to aid in this year’s July 4 fireworks display. This will be the last week for sponsors interested in having their name added to the banner, which will be displayed during the event.
“We are still seeking sponsors for the Fourth of July fireworks display. This is the last week we can take sponsors and still get you onto the banner, so please be sure to let us know if you’d like to sponsor,” Chamber Director Robin Ziegler said. “We are working to raise $8,000 towards the fireworks, so every bit of support helps make this event possible for our community.”
So far, Gold sponsors include H&R Block, Hutcheson Ford, The James Foundation, and Phelps County Bank. Public House Brewing Company is currently the only Silver sponsor. Bronze sponsors include Beth Gardner, Gahr Outdoor Equipment, Lone Oak Building, Maries County Bank, Mitchell Clinic, Promo Tags, and Sakelaris Ford. Ruby’s Ice Cream will also be donating a percentage of their sales from 7 to 9 p.m. that day.
The fireworks will be displayed in the same location as last year, with several areas for viewing at the Tourist Information Center and Hutcheson Ford. Fireworks will be displayed at dusk that evening.
