Carrie Marie Snyder of Farmington, Missouri was born in Rolla, Missouri on April 8, 1979 to Robert Hoffman and Cheryl Gray and passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at the age of 42 years.
Carrie was a very talented artist, she enjoyed painting, and really like abstract painting, but her favorite was tattoo art. She was happiest when she was giving someone the gift of her art by the way of a beautiful tattoo.
Carrie was also a very gifted musician. She not only played the piano, she also composed many of her own pieces. She was quick witted and had a very good sense of humor, she was also very intelligent, she could carry on a conversation with anyone.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Jesse Gray; and grandparents, May and Norma Hoffman and Dempsey and Agnes Gray.
She is survived by her children, Evan Snyder and partner Zavier of Springfield, Missouri, Aya Snyder of Springfield, Missouri, Ian Snyder of Springfield, Missouri, Orin Snyder of Rolla, Missouri and Forrest Krewinghaus Snyder of St. James, Missouri; parents, Cheryl Stephens and husband Doug of Rolla, Missouri and Robert Hoffman of Newburg, Missouri; brother, Jason Hoffman and wife Victoria of Houston, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at the Salem Chapel of the James & Gahr Mortuary in Salem, Missouri.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at the Salem Chapel of the James & Gahr Mortuary in Salem, Missouri with Pastor Charlie Younger officiating.
Interment was at the North Lawn cemetery in Salem, Missouri.
