Bobbie Ray Brown

    Bobbie Ray Brown was born on was born October 11, 1935 to John Kenneth Brown and Harriet Viola (Mikesell) Brown in Clay, County, Arkansas and passed away on June 4, 2021 at the age of 85 years, 7 months and 23 days.

    Bob, as he was known by his friends, was lived in Naylor, Missouri as a child and moved to St. Louis, Missouri as a young man.  He was a union heavy equipment operator for many years and owned an excavating and grading company, as well as a cable removal company.  
    Bob retired to Cuba, Missouri at Indian Hills Lake where he loved to fish and boat. He resided in Cuba, Missouri for the last 25 years with his longtime companion Patricia Cookson.
    Bob never knew a stranger and was always available to help any who had a need.
    He is survived by his children, Timothy R Brown, Susan (Brown) Scherer and Brenda (Brown) Wolf; step daughter, Maria Hart; sister, Ruth Clendenin; grandchildren, Zachariah Brown, Melissa (Wolf) Stergos, Quinlan Scherer and Emajayne Scherer; seven step grandchildren; seven great grandchildren;  12 step great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
    Memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at the Cuba United Methodist Church in Cuba, Missour.
    Burial will take place at 10 a.m. on Sunday September 5, 2021 at the Naylor Memorial Cemetery in Neelyville, Missouri.
