Elijah Lee Arnold of Sullivan, Missouri was born on November 16, 1983 to Allen and Rita Pohlman in Des Peres, Missouri and passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at the age of 37 years.
He grew up and attended school in Bourbon, Missouri graduating with the Class of 2001. Following graduation, he obtained his CMA and was a caregiver for mentally challenged adults.
He met Stephanie Halbe at 23 years old. Together, they shared 12 years.
He worked for various places in management, including IMO’s, Best Buy and Valvoline. Elijah was a great leader and made many friends wherever he found himself working.
Eli received Jesus as his personal Savior at a young age. He was also a talented musician and singer/songwriter who could play anything, including guitar, violin, keyboard and piano. Eli was even able to make his own CD and fine tune it on a mixing board.
Eli really looked up to and had a special bond with his father, Allen. They especially enjoyed watching UFC fights together. Eli also had a special love for his sister, Cloe.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Jennifer Graff; grandparents, Earl and Rosemary Tilley; and cousin, Dakota Potter.
He is survived by his parents, Allen and Rita Pohlman of Sullivan, Missouri; special sister, Cloe Rose Pohlman of Sullivan, Missouri; two brothers, Allen and Josh Pohlman, both of O’Fallon, Missouri; cousin, Amanda Rudolf of Union, Missouri; best friends, Bobby Wild of Sullivan, Missouri and Jake Collier of Union, Missouri; half sister, Melia Arnold; other relatives and m friends.
A Celebration of Life gathering was held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at the Meramec State Park in Sullivan, Missouri.
