Ronald Albert Missey of Rolla, Missouri was born on April 21, 1959 in Sullivan, Missouri to Clarence Albert and Helen (Miller) Missey and passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the age of 62 years.
He attended school at Sullivan Elementary and Bourbon High School for his freshman and sophomore years. For his last two years he attended and graduated from W.B. Ray High School in Corpus Christi, Texas. Ron then served his country in the United States Air Force.
He married Paula Sue Strosnider on September 4, 1982.
Ron was employed by Harmon Becker in Washington, Missouri, the Hartman Egg Carton Factory, and lastly, by the Boeing Company, from which he retired from in April 2021. Ron enjoyed watching sports, especially football, deer hunting, reading, gaming and watching television.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Knuckles.
He is survived by his wife, Paula Missey of Rolla, Missouri; two sons, Jacob Missey and wife Ruby of Rolla, Missouri and David Missey of Rolla, Missouri; grandson, Albert Ronald Missey, (son of Jacob and Ruby) arriving on September 17, 2021; his father, Clarence Missey and wife Karen of Potosi, Missouri; siblings, Dianna Lowery of Columbia, Missouri, Deanna Clark and husband Wayne of Apple Valley, California, Julie Klocke of Columbia, Missouri, Jason Brett and wife Jennifer of Clever, Missouri, Scott Missey and wife Audra of Texas, Michele Gosche and husband David of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Clint Knuckles of Bourbon, Missouri and Kimberly Pitts and husband Kurt; step father, Carter Knuckles of Bourbon, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were held Monday, August 30, 2021 at the Bourbon Cemetery in Bourbon, Missouri.
Arrangements under the direction of the Eaton Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Sullivan, Missouri.
