Mark Raymond Hoerath of Bourbon, Missouri was born January 10, 1968 in Sullivan, Missouri to James and Frances (Kruczynski) Hoerath and passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at the age of 53 years.
He grew up and attended school in the Sullivan, Missouri area and then went to work for various local businesses.
Mark faced hardships through his life, such as losing his daughter Brianna at the age of 12, but he never failed to always continue to be selfless and so caring of others. He would do anything for anyone.
Mark was employed by Aerofil in Sullivan, Missouri for a long period of time.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially on the Meramec River. He loved to throw darts and play pool wherever there was a pool table. He was also a very avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brianna; parents, James and Frances Hoerath; and his cousin, Bret Simpson.
He is survived by two sisters, Vicky Burchett and husband Darrell of Leabanon, Indiana and Donna Monshower and husband Gary of Sullivan, Missouri; two brothers, Fred Hediger and wife Brenda of St. Clair, Missouri and James Hoerath and wife Linda Jo of Longview, Texas; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, Missouri.
Funeral services were held at noon on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, Missouri with Pastor John Roach officiating.
Interment followed in the Bourbon Cemetery.
