Charles Anthony “Tony” Baker of St. James, Missouri was born in Galesburg, Illinois on July 25, 1951 to Orval Lee and Alyce Donna (Kinton) Baker and passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the age of 70 years.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served honorably from 1971-1982 mostly working in Aircraft Control and as a Warning Radar Technician.
On November 2, 2004, in Rolla, Missouri, he married Christina Ann (Farrar) Baker.
Among Tony’s many personal interests were collecting rocks and minerals and comic books. He enjoyed traveling, cave exploration, playing his guitar and watching pro wrestling.
He was preceded in his father, Orval Baker; mother, Alyce Overbaker; one brother, James Baker; and nephew, Jim Tackett.
He is survived by his wife, Christina Ann Baker of St. James, Missouri; two children, Charles L. Baker and Michael D. Baker, both of Lebanon, Missouri; four stepchildren, Mary Farrar of Rolla, Missouri, Stacy Skinner of Doolittle, Missouri, Catrina Heath and husband Jason of Fayette, Missouri and Ashley Hoodenpyle and husband John of Salem, Missouri; one brother, Donald Overbaker of Muskogee, Oklahoma; two sisters, Angela Baker and Amanda Al-Hafeedhi, both of Muskogee; 19 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, October 8, 2021 at the Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla, Missouri.

Interment with full military honors followed in the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery in Waynesville, Missouri.
