BACC announces 50/50 raffle

The Bourbon Area Community Center (BACC) is a hub of activity for the Bourbon city/community. The center was established in 1988 and in 1989 the site was secured at 575 Elm Street in Bourbon.

The board of the community center strives to provide a clean, comfortable and affordable place for organizations, businesses, other community events, and family/friends to celebrate and get together.
Did you know that a microphone, speakers and an overhead projector are available for a fee with a rental? There is free wi-fi available in the building and outside in the parking lot, courtesy of Blue Bit.
The BACC board is having a 50/50 raffle fundraising project. Why are we doing a 50/50 raffle? The BACC is funded by rental income, grants, and donations. The Center is an asset to the Bourbon community.
Currently, the Bourbon branch of the Crawford County Library District and the Cuba Senior Center lunch program operates from this facility. However, the Center, like most places during COVID-19, suffered from not being able to rent out the facilities.
Now you have an opportunity to help the BACC board to continue to make improvements and keep our community center alive. The drawing will be held on November 30, 2021 for the 50/50 raffle.
In addition, if you’re looking to memorialize or honor a friend or loved one, please consider a tax-deductible donation made in their name to the BACC, which is a 501(c)(3) status. They accept any donations small or large. If you would like to give a donation you may send it to Bourbon Area Community Center, PO Box 104, Bourbon, MO 65441.
If you wish to purchase a raffle ticket, please track down one of the following board members (or stop by Bremer Hardware): Suzanne Louderman, President; Leonard Armstrong, V. President; Mark McKnight,  Secretary; John Callen, Treasurer; Chuck Ray, Sonya Sewald, Tom Buhrkuhl, Francie Rohrer    or Neily West.
