Myrtle Marcella Arvin of Belle, Missouri was born on October 11, 1943 in Granite City, Illinois to Raymond H. and Myrtle (Jones) Williams and passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at the age of 78 years.
Marcella was a homemaker. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and she enjoyed fishing, word puzzles, coloring and listening to country and gospel music.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Myrtle Williams; husband, Joseph Arvin; two sons, Donald Williams and Timmy Powell; one brother, Raymond Eugene Williams; and one nephew, Steven Williams.
She is survived by five children, Kenny Powell of Belle, Missouri, Jeff and wife Robin Powell of Imperial, Missouri, Tonya and husband James Riden of Belle, Missouri, Tommy Powell of Imperial, Missouri and Andy Arvin of Bowling Green, Missouri; two nephews, Raymond WiIliams of Barnhart, Missouri and Paul Williams of St. Louis, Missouri; 16 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at the Mizell Funeral Home in Cuba, Missouri.
Funeral service was held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at the Mizell Funeral Home in Cuba, Missouri with Pastor Bob Coleman officiating.
Interment followed at the St. James Cemetery in St. James, Missouri.
