William “Bill” Edward Siems Jr. of Steelville, Missouri was born on Thursday, March 18, 1971 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida to William E. Sr. and Shirley A. Havens Siems and passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the age of 50 years, 9 month and 10 days.
Bill graduated from Christian Heritage High School in Brattleboro, Vermont.
He accepted the Lord as his personal Savior early in life and was an active member of the First Assembly of God Church in Steelville, Missouri. He was employed with Country Mart in Steelville, Missouri for many years.
Bill was a hard worker and touched many lives through his business, Candy Cane RV Park and Campground, which he owned and operated for the past 20 years. Since an early age, he loved Christmas and the meaning behind it, proclaiming Jesus is the reason for the season. Each year Bill decorated the park for the holidays, giving free train rides and tours of the lights and decorations to the children in the community. He enjoyed collecting Christmas items, especially nativity scenes as well as all things Disney. He was sentimental, had a conservative viewpoint and loved his country.
Bill was fond of dogs, especially his former dogs Midnight and Max
He was preceded in death by his father, William E. Siems Sr.; aunt, Nancy Siems; and uncles, Charles Vincent, Bobby McShane and Tommy McShane.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley A. Siems of Steelville, Missouri; sister, Rebekah (John) Simpson of Tallahassee, Florida; brother, Benjamin (Elizabeth) Siems of Las Vegas, Nevada; uncle, David Siems of Port St. Lucie, Florida; aunts, Kathy (Lloyd) Solomon of Tampa, Florida and Virginia Vincent of Simpsonville, South Carolina; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was from 10:30 a.m.-noon on Monday, January 3, 2022 at the Hutson Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri.
Funeral service was held at noon on January 3, 2022 at the Hutson Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri with Rev. Jerry Beers officiating.
Burial at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Steelville, Missouri.
