Ronald Dean Mosher

    Ronald Dean Mosher of Belle, Missouri was born on August 20, 1945 in Belle, Missouri to Dorsie Wayne and Ruby Berniece (Giesler) Mosher and passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021 at the age of 76 years.

    Ron was a 1963 graduate of Belle High School, where he loved being a part of the FFA.
    Upon graduation Ron went on to work for Explorer Pipelines in Wood River Illinois, until his retirement in the early 2000s.
    Ron married Sadie Mouser on July 25, 1996.
    Ron loved to spend time on his farm. For many years, Ron raised and sold sheep. Ron and Sadie grew sweetcorn and would set up at local farmer’s markets. Ron also enjoyed riding and site-seeing in his side-by-side. Almost every morning, you could catch Ron at the “BS Table” with his friends in town, just before bringing back Sadie her morning chiller.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorsie and Ruby Mosher; one daughter, Tina Mosher; one brother, Carl Mosher; and three sisters, Vera Piazza, Betty Tucker and Margaret Bentlage.  
    He is survived by his wife, Sadie of Belle, Missouri; four children, Kenny Mosher of Bethalto, Illinois, Ryan Mouser and wife Tina of Godfrey, Illinois, Bryon Mouser and wife Shaunnan of Roxanna, Illinois and Christy Lopez of Linn, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Gilbert, Brandon, Cassandra, Gage, Bryce, Tristan and Paige; five great grandchildren; two brothers, Dorsie Mosher of Jefferson City, Missouri and Randy Mosher of St. James, Missouri; sister, Pat Straws of Lancaster, Virginia; other relatives and friends.
    A memorial service will be held at a later date.
    Arrangements under the direction of the Sassmans Chapel in Belle, Missouri.
