Terri Jenna’ Holtsclaw


    Terri Jenna’ Holtsclaw of Dixon, Missouri was born August 31, 1965 at Rolla, Missouri to Jimmie Wayne and Karin Helene (Palanzo) Prewett and passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at the age of 56 years.


    She married Brian Lee Holtsclaw on December 25, 1989 at Dixon, Missouri.
    Terri made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ and was baptized early in life.  At the time of her passing, she was attending Santee Community Church near Dixon.  
    During her working life, she was owner and operator of Pride and Joy Child Development Center in Dixon, Missouri and was currently the Human Resources Director for Mi-Serenity in Rolla, Missouri until failing health.  Terri enjoyed entertaining, decorating and cooking.
    She was preceded in death by her mother, Karin on October 29, 2007; grandparents, Woodrow and Margaret Prewett and Roy and Centa Palanzo; and father-in-law, Gary L. Holtsclaw on March 9, 2002.
     She is survived by her husband, Brian Holtsclaw of their home near Dixon, Missouri; father, Jim Prewett of Dixon, Missouri; children, Carrisa Smith and husband Mike of Dixon, Missouri and Jimmie Holtsclaw of Dixon, Missouri; three grandchildren, twins Kaiden and Karin Smith and Charlotte Smith; brother, Jerry Prewett and wife Barbie of St. James, Missouri; one nephew, Charleton Prewett of St. James, Missouri; mother-in-law, Phyllis Holtsclaw of Dixon, Missouri; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Brent Holtsclaw and wife Jerica of Dixon, Missouri; one niece, Maci Holtsclaw of Dixon, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
    Visitation was held from 9-11 a.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2022 in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Dixon, Missouri.
    Funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 6, 2022 in the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Dixon, Missouri with Pastor Shannon Perry, Santee Community Church, officiating.
    Interment was in the Pisgah Cemetery near Dixon, Missouri.
