    Felix James Kluba Jr. was born April 5, 1937 in Washington, Missouri to Felix Kluba Sr. and Anna (nee Manhart) Kluba and passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at the age of 85 years.

    Felix received his education in Clover Bottom, Missouri and graduated from Clover Bottom Tech.
    He married Mary Strubberg on June 28, 1958 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Krakow, Missouri. The couple made their home in Washington, Missouri and moved to Leslie, Missouri five years later.
    Felix worked at General Motors. He worked primarily at the production plant in St. Louis, Missouri except for the last few months of his career when he worked at the Wentzville plant. He was a member of United Auto Workers Local 25 and retired in 1989.
    In his younger years, Felix enjoyed arrowhead hunting, fishing, drinking Stag beer and playing cork ball and dart ball. Later in life, he also enjoyed scratching lottery tickets. Family was the center of Felix’s life.
    He was a lifetime member of the Hummingbird Club in Washington, Missouri, retired member of UAW, and member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #1328 in Hermann, Missouri.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix Kluba Sr. and Anna Kluba; parents-in-law, Leonard and Virginia Strubberg; one sister, Juley Ann Lackey; five brothers, Jerome, Merald, Maurice, Johnny and Francis Kluba; brother-in-law, Bernard Strubberg; and sister-in-law in-infancy, Ruth Ann Strubberg.
    He is survived by his wife of nearly 64 years, Mary Kluba of Leslie, Missouri; six children, Daniel Kluba of Owensville, Missouri, Faye Marie Tall and husband Thomas of Beaufort, Missouri, Kimberly Busse and husband Mack of Cuba, Missouri, Cathrine Luechtefeld of Beaufort, Missouri, Diane Wildhaber and husband Perry of Union, Missouri and Alan “Pokey” Kluba of Gerald, Missouri; one sister, Jerlyn Homeyer and husband Thomas of Union, Missouri; five sisters-in-law, Rosaley Kluba, Edna Kluba, Janice Kluba, all of Washington, Missouri, Genevieve Luechtefeld of Leslie, Missouri and Lois Ann Romaker and husband George of Smithville, Missouri; three brothers-in-law, Eugene Lackey of St. Clair, Missouri, James Strubberg of Jefferson City, Missouri and Lawrence Strubberg of Union, Missouri; 12 grandchildren, Kali Myers (Chris), Krista Rock (T.J.), Greg Tall (Anne), Todd Tall (Nicole), Matthew Otte (Mandy), Sarah Meyer (Marvin), Eric Luechtefeld, Kent Luechtefeld, Deanna Loeb, Bryan Wildhaber (Erin), Brandon Wildhaber (Misty) and Brooke Eggers (Brent); great grandchildren, Kalista, Emma, and Keegan Myers, Macy, Austin, Carter, Harper and Audrey Tall, Lyric Otte, Emma Luechtefeld, Kaden and Paden Loeb, Reese and Avery Wildhaber, Aspen, and Fischer Eggers; other relatives and friends.
    Celebration of Life as held from 2-6 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at the WCU Hall in Clover Bottom.
    Interment will be held privately at a later date.
    Arrangements under the direction of the Oltman Funeral Home in Union, Missouri.
