Trecia Darlean Burnett

    Trecia Darlean (nee Jackson) Burnett of Cook Station, Missouri was born on Saturday, October 22, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri to Lonnie and Juanita (nee Taylor) Jackson and passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at the age of 66 years, 8 months and 15 days.

    Trecia grew up around Steelville, Missouri and Osceola, Arkansas.
    She married William Eugene Burnett on March 15, 1973 in Osceola, Arkansas.
    While her kids were growing up, they lived in Florida and she worked at High Performance Finishing.
    In 1996, they moved to Cook Station, Missouri.  Trecia had accepted the Lord as her personal Savior.  She enjoyed quilting and crocheting.  She had a green thumb and grew a large garden.  She also enjoyed woodworking and wood burning.  She liked painting and taught a ceramics painting class.  Her favorite hobby was gaming, which she played online daily and made many friends.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Juanita Jackson; husband, William Burnett; parents-in-law, William and June Burnett; siblings, Patricia (Albert) Dildine and Bobby Jackson; brother-in-law, Bo Dildine; and niece, Joyce Tucker.
    She is survived by her children, Bobby Burnett and June Burnett, both of Cook Station, Missouri; grandchildren, Lindsay Kessels of Cook Station, Missouri, Tyler Burnett, Robert Burnett and Jordan Burnett, all of Steelville, Missouri; great grandchildren, Alexis Kessels, Connor Sneddon and Allison Burnett; sister, Connie Dildine of Cuba, Missouri; cousin, Anthony (Mary) Capertino of Cook Station, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
    The family chose cremation as her final disposition.
    There will not be any services held at this time.
    Arrangements under the direction of the Hutson Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri.
