Barry Rand Kennedy


    Barry Rand Kennedy of Rolla, Missouri was born on Sunday, September 9, 1956 in St. Louis, Missouri to Boyd Odell and Bonnie Lynn (nee Rushing) Kennedy and passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at the age of 65 years, 9 months and 20 days.


    Barry graduated from Webster High School in St. Louis, Missouri.  He worked as a pipefitter for many years in St. Louis, Missouri and Texas.
    Barry was previously engaged to Crystal Rector Dalton.
    He accepted the Lord as his personal Savior early in life.  He enjoyed collecting coins, books, knives and comic books.  He liked playing video games.  He loved to fish, hunt, play chess and watch movies
    He was preceded in death by his parents, Boyd and Bonnie Kennedy; sisters, Sharon Hardin and Diane Hardin; and sister-in-law, Pat Kennedy.
    He is survived by his daughter, Rachel (Lisa) Fenwick of Farmington, Missouri; step daughters, Tiffany (Jayson) Zwetow and Renee Ziegler, both of Rolla, Missouri; grandchildren, Rylan Crawford, Peyton Fenwick and Emberlee Fenwick, all of Farmington, Missouri; step grandchildren, Kaytee Rumpell of Bismark, Missouri, Kaydence Zwetow, Bexley Zwetow, Brantley Ziegler and Briar Ziegler, all of Rolla, Missouri; step great grandchild, Sophia Reeves of Bismark, Missouri; brothers, Dan Kennedy of Michigan, Thomas (Sandy) Kennedy of Irondale, Missouri, Tim Kennedy of Leslie, Missouri and Ricky Kennedy of St. Louis, Missouri; sisters, Kim (Randy) Wilson of Park Hills, Missouri and Lisa Kennedy of Leslie, Missouri; companion, Crystal Chapman; nieces and nephews, Frankie (Staci) Beard, Holly Beard, Braden Wilson, Garrett Kennedy, Gage Kennedy, Thomas Kennedy and Katelyn Reis; other relatives and friends.
    Visitation was held from 5-6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at the Hutson Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri.
    Funeral service was held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at the Hutson Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri with Bro. Len Young officiating and full military honors.
    The family chose cremation as his final disposition.
