Cystic Fibrosis research benefit ride is Sept. 24

            The Midwest Backroad Rally for a Cure Annual Ride for Cystic Fibrosis will be held on Saturday, September 24. The SUV, ATV, SXS, and Jeep fun ride will raise money to help fund the research to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.


            Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Steelville City Park and the 60-mile loop ride will begin at 9 a.m. No alcohol is allowed in the park.
            The cost is $30 per vehicle. Each vehicle must have a Crawford County permit. Permits will not be sold at the event but must be purchased through the Crawford County Clerk’s office before the ride. Drivers must be at least 16 years old and must provide a copy of a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. All drivers must also sign a liability waiver.
            A silent auction will be held in conjunction with the ride.
All proceeds from the registration for the ride and the silent auction will go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for research in finding a cure for the disease.
