A Spooktacular event planned at Meramec State Park Oct. 15

Meramec State Park presents Spooktacular! On Saturday, Oct. 15, join park team members for a day full of Halloween-related activities.


The activities are being held throughout the park and include:
    •    9 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Coloring Contest, held in the tent across from Shower House 1. Contest begins at 9 a.m. and sheets must be turned in by 3 p.m.
    •    1:30 p.m. – Scavenger Hunt, starts in the tent across from Shower House 1.
    •    2-4 p.m. – Naturalist Station, held in the field across from the brown check-in booth.
    •    4 p.m. – Jack-o’-lantern Contest, held in the tent across from the brown check-in booth. Pumpkins are due by 4 p.m.
    •    5-7 p.m. – Trick-or-treating in the campground. The campground road closes at 4:45 p.m. for the safety of the trick-or-treaters.
    •    7:30 p.m. – Movie and bonfire in the field across from the brown check-in booth.
