Kaitlyn Marie Rhoads of Sullivan, Missouri was born August 4, 2004 in Washington, Missouri to Nathan and Brandy (Winters) Rhoads and passed away Monday, September 26, 2022 at the age of 18 years.
Those that had the opportunity to know Kaitlyn, know what an extremely talented and creative person she was in life. Kaitlyn loved music, especially singing. She found great enjoyment singing with the Bourbon High School Choir.
Kaitlyn was a gifted artist. Over the years she could be found sketching portraits of people. Many will remember her very dry sense of humor, sometimes making a statement and then awkwardly waiting for one’s response.
She had a tremendous heart for her kitties, Luna and Gretel. Among other interests, Kaitlyn enjoyed going for walks where she found peace and gaming with friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lori Fox; and great grandparents, Jerry and Jackie Meyer and Charlie Rhoads.
She is survived by her parents, Brandy Winters and Nathan and Felicia Rhoads, all of Sullivan, Missouri; siblings: Olivia Rhoads, Easton Kitchen, Lane and Danica Bowers, all of Sullivan, Missouri; grandparents, Craig and Diane Winters of Wildwood, Missouri, Paula Rhoads of Cuba, Missouri and Charles Rhoads (and significant other Lena Braswell) of Bourbon, Missouri; great grandmothers, Sandra Winters of Eureka, Missouri and Anna Mae Rhoads of Granite City, Illinois; other relatives and friends.
