Rose Marie Schmidt

    Rose Marie Schmidt of Sullivan, Missouri was born on October 18, 1934 in rural Bourbon to Harrison Carac and Ethel Delora (Missey) Isgriggs and passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at the age of 87 years.

    She attended school at what was then known as Coon Ridge School along with her many brothers and sisters.
    Rose was employed in various factories in the area. For 20 plus years she worked for the Sullivan School District as the Supervisor for their food service program. After retiring several times, she worked for Missouri Baptist Hospital in the cafeteria.
    On June 2, 1995 Rose married William Schmidt and they enjoyed 27 years together.
    Rose loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, playing cards and traveling especially to her favorite western state of Colorado. She was also an avid Cardinals Fan.
    She was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Politte; parents, Harrison and Ethel Isgriggs; six siblings, Francis, Gene, Johnny, Helen, Audrey, Ellen, Thelma, Florence and Betty.
    She is survived by her husband, William Schmidt of Sullivan, Missouri; four children, Gary Gargus and wife Danica of Manchester, Missouri, Marty Politte and significant other Sue Pouge of Bourbon, Missouri, Patti Carey and husband Alan of Sullivan, Missouri and Becky Webb of Cuba, Missouri; three step children, Betty Blankenship and husband Jack of Sullivan, Missouri, Dean Webb and wife Donna of Sullivan, Missouri and Roger Webb of Sullivan, Missouri; grandchildren, Heather Mallinckrodt and husband Brandon, Brandon Gargus and wife Emily, Tammy Humphrey and husband Barry, Angie Bartle and husband Cory, Rachel Thomure and husband Nick, Amanda Mullen and husband Don, Taylor Politte and wife Victoria, Tarah Barton and husband Guy, Shane Carey and wife Kathryn, Alex Carey and wife Ashley, D.J. Dace and wife Taylor, Nathan and Joshua Dace, Micheal Solorio, Jason, Jeff and Jamie Blankenship; great and great great grandchildren;  brother, Bill Isgriggs and wife Shirley of Sullivan, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
    Visitation was held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, September 26, 2022 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, Missouri.
    Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, September 26, 2022 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan, Missouri with Pastor Matt Dudley officiating.
