Craft show in Union set for November 12-13

The UMS PTO is happy to announce that the 38th Annual Craft Show will be held November 12 & 13, 2022 at Union Middle School, 503 W. End Ave., Union, Missouri. Shopping hours are Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The UMS Craft Fair really is quite the event. Friday afternoon, teacher and student volunteers transform the building from an education setting to a business establishment. By the time the doors open Saturday morning, crafters fill more than 25 classrooms, two gyms, the cafeteria, and many hallways with all kinds of products. Over the weekend, thousands of people walk the building finding just the right gift or treasure.
All the profits from this huge event stay with the staff and students at Union Middle School.  They use the money to enhance the learning environment so students have the best education possible. This event not only helps Union Middle School, but local businesses like restaurants, hotels, and gas stations benefit from the huge crowds attending the fair. Over 300 booths will be filled with works of art, gifts for young and old, food booths of all descriptions, and very unusual artistic items.
Due to the large volume of guests, a shuttle bus is available to transfer visitors to the school from the various parking areas around the lake. The bus will circle about every 15-20 minutes. People can look for the shuttle stop signs and wait for a ride.
