Embrace180 Community Outreach Services, through partnerships with First Assembly of God and Ramona Rinehart, Keller Williams Chesterfield, will be distributing 300 turkeys and meal bags to residents in the St. James School District on November 11.
The event, called Thanks and Giving, will see low-income families and seniors being served at a drive through at First Assembly of God Church, located at 300 North Outer Road in St. James from 9 to 11 a.m.
The event is made possible through generous donations from the sponsors and their partners and will be a great way to support individuals in need during the holiday.
According to a press release from Embrace180 about the event, “Embrace180 Community Outreach Services provides a variety of programs and services in Phelps County through partnerships that engage comprehensive community initiatives that improve the quality of life by reversing the effects of poverty and homelessness, creating housing opportunities, empowering youth and developing leaders while strengthening resources for seniors.”
Those interested in participating are encouraged to get registered as soon as possible to be prepared for pickup during the drive through event later this month.
