Not being held accountable?

Recent actions by the school board seem to just be a distraction to avoid the real issue.

Administrators knew there were allegations of the inappropriate behavior of a teacher for over a year.
It is their duty to report these allegations as part of their jobs to protect your children.
So if they did report to the school board and/or the Superintendent, why was nothing done? And if they chose not to report, why are they not being held accountable?
Nepotism and favoritism should not be reasons to turn a blind eye to the bigger issue and slapping the messenger does nothing to solve it.
