Beverly Ann McCabe Spurlin was born on November 9, 1951 in St. Louis, Missouri to Gerald and Betty (Conway) McCabe and passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022 at the age of 71 years.
Beverly earned her GED and studied business at a community college.
She enjoyed travleing and had many different types of jobs. She worked in Alaska as a caretaker at a remote cabin that supplies had to be flown in. She also worked in Washington processing fresh fish. She managed a small clothing factory and she was an apartment manager in several locations.
She was a member of Flag Springs Church in St. James, Missouri for many years even going on a mission trip to Mexico with other church members. Beverly enjoyed reading her Bible, traveling the mountains in and around Alaska, camping, fishing and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles. She was also a movie buff.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Betty McCabe; brothers, Roger McCabe and Jerry McCabe; and grandparents, James and Dessie McCabe and Harry and Thelma Conway.
She is survived by her companion, Rick Spurlin of Rolla, Missouri; daughter, Dawnna Glore of Potosi, Missouri; granddaughters, Chelsie and Emily Glore of Potosi, Missouri; sisters, Pam (Herman) Bradshaw and Cathy McCabe of St. James, Missouri; brother, Kevin (Donna) McCabe of St. James, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at the Flag Springs Church in St. James, Missouri.
Service was held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at the Flag Springs Church in St. James, Missouri with Pastor Gary Bartle officiating.
Interment was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Salem, Missouri.
