    The Steelville High School girls came in third at a 10-team track meet in Cuba on March 30, while the boys were sixth.

Case shoots low score at first golf match

    The Steelville High School golf team finished fifth out of six teams at Salem on April 30 in the Cardinals golf squad’s first match of the season. One SHS golfer, however, had the low round of the match.

SMS boys open track season with a win

    The Steelville Middle School boys track team took first at the Bourbon Middle School Invitational to open the season on April 1. The SMS girls came in seventh.
    The Cardinals won the meet with 110 points, finishing ahead of St. James with 94.5 and Owensville with 74.5. There were nine boys teams in the meet.

Three SHS basketball players named all-state - Collins and Tolly named Mid-Mo coaches of the year

    In a basketball season full of firsts, Steelville High School put another record in the books last week when for the first time in a single season three players were named to the 2020-21 Class 3 all-state squads by the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association.

Baseball Cards lose heartbreaker to Valley

    For the second time in three games this season, one bad inning led to a loss for the Steelville High School varsity baseball team. Valley put 10 runs on the board in the fourth inning and beat the Cards in extra innings 12-11 on March 24.
