Commission responds to request for evening meetings

            A number of Crawford County citizens have requested that commissioners hold an evening meeting in order to allow more people to attend, but that is not likely to occur.

Rowden floats new plan to name a bridge after Sen. Roy Blunt

JEFFERSON CITY — Senate Majority Leader Caleb Rowden, R-Columbia, wants to name a bridge after U.S. Sen. Roy Blunt.
Rowden started the process more than a year ago to have the Rocheport bridge named after Blunt, in recognition of his role in securing federal funding for its reconstruction.
