Free virtual SARE grant writing workshop set for Oct. 13

Registration is open for a free workshop to learn how to write a Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE) Farmer/Rancher grant.
The online workshop is offered 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, via Zoom.

Quilts to be on display at St. James Tourist Information Center Oct. 1-5

    The Missouri Bicentennial & Phelps County Commemorative Quilts will both be on display at the Tourist Information Center in St. James October 1-5.

Marston appointed to serve as Ward 4 councilwoman

    On Monday, September 15, Brittany Marston was appointed to serve out the remainder of the year as Ward 4 councilwoman after Beth Keyes moved outside her ward and was no longer eligible to serve in the position. Marston had run for the seat in the June 2 election, but lost to Bob Smith.
