With a gift of $250,000, Missouri University of Science and Technology history alumnus Cordell Smith has established the university’s first endowment to fund the research efforts of S&T history and political science faculty. The Lawrence O. Christensen Endowed Faculty Fellowship honors late Missouri historian and S&T professor Dr. Lawrence Christensen.

Missouri S&T waives application fee for fall 2021 freshmen, transfers

Incoming first-year students and transfer students who apply for admission to Missouri University of Science and Technology for the fall 2021 semester may now do so without paying an application fee if they apply by Dec. 1.
New CHS cases put 60 into quarantine
The Cuba School District announced Tuesday afternoon that two students at the High School have tested positive for COVID-19. The cases led to a total of 60 people having to go into quarantine.

McCullough promoted at MSHP

Steelville Schools have 117 quarantined
According to numbers released by the Steelville School District on Monday, November 2, there were a total of eight positive COVID-19 cases in the district—three students and five staff members. The total quarantined in the district was 117—11 staff members and 106 students.
