The Phelps County Commission on Thursday approved six agencies to receive a portion of the CARES (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, & Economic Security) Act funding the county received earlier this year. Funding will be used to help with COVID-19 recovery and preparedness purposes to help with the costs associated with the pandemic.
