BHS earns Esports award

            Bourbon High School announced Monday that Generation Esports has selected the school as winner for its 2022 AMD Learn and Build STEAM (LABS) program.

HHS awards local health center with ARPA funding

   South Central Missouri Community Health Center, of Rolla, will be one of 27 Missouri health centers to receive American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding. The facility will get $65,500 to allow for better data collection and reporting.

Steelville school buses ready to roll

   The Steelville Transportation Department is ready to begin the 2022-23 school year. The drivers and bus mechanic Terry Palmer have spent the summer ensuring that the buses are ready to go. Drivers will be participating in training sessions prior to the start of the year and routes have been finalized.

2022 Outdoor Recreation Legacy Partnership Program grant application round is now open

The Missouri Department of Natural Resources’ Division of State Parks, is now accepting application for the sixth round of the Outdoor Recreation Legacy Partnership Program (ORLP). For 2022, a total of $192 million nationwide is available for outdoor recreation projects.
