Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital has been selected to receive a $5,000 grant from Impact 100 of Crawford County, a part of the Crawford County Foundation. These funds will be used to implement an Athlete Heat Illness Prevention and Treatment Program for the Sullivan and Cuba School Districts, through the MBSH/Athletic Trainer partnership programs.
In recognition of November’s Diabetes Awareness Month, the Wound Care Center® at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital, a member of the Healogics network, is participating in Healogics’ National Diabetes Awareness Campaign. This means the MBSH will dedicate the week of October 26-30 to educating the local community about the importance of awareness, early intervention and specialized care for diabetes-related chronic wounds, like diabetic foot ulcers.
