Dr. Kyle Gibbs has been hired by the Bourbon School Board as the new superintendent of the Crawford County R-I School District. He will assume duties as superintendent of schools beginning July 1, 2019, following the retirement of Patricia Thompson, which was announced late last year.

Two residents of Rustic Acres questioned county road maintenance in their area at the Crawford County Commission meeting on January 15. Joan King and Carol Hofstetter asked why only certain roads in their area were being worked on by county crews, with King questioning descriptions of county roads and former agreements for maintenance, while Hofstetter primarily looked for ways to solve the issues they presented.
The next Onondaga Friends Association meeting is Friday January 18 at 6 p.m. at the State Park Visitor Center. This will be their Annual Meeting and get together.

The Bourbon Booster Club presented the annual “Christmas Tree Lighting” in Bourbon on Thursday evening, December 6 at the Town and Country Plaza.
