High school evacuated after bomb threat

           St. James High School had to be evacuated on November 15 after law enforcement was notified of a potential bomb threat. Students and staff were taken offsite while a search of the building was conducted. No explosive devices were found.

Council approves mid-year budget correction

            On Monday evening, City Administrator Jim Fleming provided the St. James City Council with a mid-year budget review, with the council approving corrections to better reflect the projected budget of the city. Fleming noted this reflection would provide more money for wages to help the city be more competitive from surrounding municipalities and private contractors.
