Missouri University of Science and Technology will postpone its spring commencement ceremonies to a date to be determined, Chancellor Mo Dehghani announced today (Thursday, April 2).

Webster University’s Rolla campus will host a virtual information session on April 8 for prospective students interested in the campus’s counseling degree programs. The event will be from 6-6:30 p.m. and offered via WebEx, an online meeting platform.
Students and faculty at Missouri University of Science and Technology are back from spring break and back to meeting virtually after COVID-19 effectively shut down classrooms on the Rolla campus and at the other University of Missouri System universities. The transition to online education has gone fairly smoothly, according to faculty and students.
ECC is providing as many of their medical supplies as needed to area hospitals in Washington, Sullivan and Rolla. Last week Phelps Health received gowns, gloves and masks from the ECC Rolla Nursing program. Nursing faculty member Julie Chirban (left) dropped off the supplies to Barb McNamara, who works at Phelps as a nurse leader and who is also an adjunct faculty member in the Nursing program.
