The Steelville High School golf squad played at two tournaments last week against some tough competition. The Cardinals were at Waynesville on April 18 and Boone Terre on April 22.
The Steelville High School varsity baseball team got a strong pitching performance from Carson Mullen, along with a two-run homer to give the Cardinals a first-inning lead, in a 7-3 victory at home over Sullivan on April 21. The win improved the squads record to 6-2-1.
The Steelville Middle School track teams were back in action last week after not running the previous week due to the weather. The Cardinals competed in Linn and Hermann.
The Steelville High School track teams traveled to Waynesville on April 22 to take on a host of larger schools, including Camdenton, West Plains, Rolla, and Lebanon. The boys finished sixth and the girls seventh.
A two-run, walk-off homer gave the Steelville High School varsity baseball team an 11-0 victory over Crocker on April 14. The win improved the Cardinals to 5-2-1 for the season.
