Kiyah Bast is state-bound this weekend and will compete in the Class 3 state track and field championships in the javelin throw. The sophomore Lady Wildcat qualified for the state meet based on her javelin performance in the sectional track meet at Waynesville High School last Saturday, when she broke her own school record with a state-qualifying toss of 120 feet, 9 inches.
Competing in the Class 2 golf state championship held at Rivercut Golf Course in Springfield on May 13-14, Jonathan Bayless had a two-day total of 188 strokes and Paven Clark finished the two-day tournament with a 196 score.

Simon Siebert is an all-district runner in the 800 meters, Madison Mallady earned all-district in the 100 meter dash, and Kiyah Bast is an all-district javelin thrower.
