Wildcats fall to Bulldogs 45-6

            The Cuba High School varsity football team traveled to South Callaway last Friday and returned home with a 45-6 loss to the Bulldogs. The Wildcats are now 0-7 with two regular season games, both at home, left to play.

Football Wildcats move to 0-6 with loss to St. Pius X

            The Cuba High School varsity football team is still looking for its first win of the season after falling to St. Pius X, of Festus, at home 58-6 last Friday night. The Wildcats now have three regular season games remaining—all against teams without winning records.

Varsity volleyball team gets win over St. James

            The Cuba High School varsity volleyball team, now 6-7-1, split a pair of road matches last week. The Lady Wildcats came home from St. James with a victory, but lost in Steelville.

Softball Lady Cats win pair of games

            The Cuba High School varsity softball team won two of three games last week, defeating Hermann and Jefferson. The Lady Wildcats, now 6-15, also lost to Dixon.

Fulliam runs to first-place finish in St. James

            Cuba and Bourbon were part of a large group of schools participating in the St. James Invitational Cross Country Meet on September 28 and one Cuba athlete was able to bring home an individual first-place finish, while several other Wildcats and Warhawks earned top honors.
