Five CMS girls basketball games canceled

    After quarantining 92 students at Cuba Middle School on Friday due to possible exposure to COVID-19, the school announced Monday that it is canceling five of its upcoming CMS girls basketball games. The Lady Wildcats will not be able to resume basketball activities until November 2.

Lady Wildcats win one of three matches

    The Cuba High School volleyball teams hit the court three times last week. The varsity Lady Wildcats got one victory, but also suffered two losses.

Fulliam runs past the competition at home meet

    Cuba High School freshman Kaylee Fulliam continued what has been a fine first varsity season on October 7 when she ran to a first-place finish at her home meet. She won the Cuba Invitational varsity girls race with a time of 21:45.

Lady Cats win three straight headed into district play

    The Cuba High School varsity softball team earned three victories last week, including a big upset over Owensville, as they closed out their regular season. District tournament play gets underway on Wednesday.

Football Wildcats fall to South Callaway

    The Cuba Wildcats varsity football team tried to come back in the fourth quarter at South Callaway Friday night, but came up one touchdown short. The Cats are now 3-4 and stand fourth in the district headed into the final two weeks of the season.
