Three Bourbon High School players, (from left) Alexis Tackett, Morgan Louderman, and Ashlyn Lewis, have earned post-season honors on this year’s all-conference and all-district volleyball teams.
The Bourbon High School boys finished third in a full six-team field at the Gasconade Valley Conference cross country meet in Viburnum on October 22. Caleb Sappington led the Warhawks with a seventh-place finish, which was good enough to earn him all-conference honors.
The Bourbon High School junior varsity boys cross country team closed out their regular season October 16 at the Vienna Autumn Classic, where they took first in a three-team field. The meet also featured five varsity boys and two varsity girls teams.
Bourbon sports teams were busy last week in cross country, basketball, and volleyball. The JV cross country team and BMS boys B team both took a second-place finish, while the volleyball team closed out is home schedule.
The Bourbon High School junior varsity cross country team has won another meet. This time, the Warhawks took first in Cuba on October 2 with 22 points, while Waynesville was second with 36.
