Warhawks finish second at Valley tournament

    The Bourbon High School varsity boys basketball team won two of three games in the Valley Tournament at Caledonia last week, finishing second. The Warhawks fell to Bunker in the championship game.

Lady Warhawks drop consolation game

    The Bourbon High School varsity girls basketball team reached the consolation game of the Valley Tournament in Caledonia last week but lost their final-round game to Kingston.

Varsity boys win season opener

    The Bourbon High School varsity boys basketball team won their season opener at home on November 26 against Valley. The Warhawks are playing in the Valley Tournament at Caledonia this week.

BHS boys and girls both playing in Valley tournament

    The Bourbon High School boys and girls basketball teams will both be playing in the 30th Annual Valley Basketball Tournament, which gets underway on Saturday, Nov. 30, in Caledonia. The Warhawks have been seeded second, while the Lady Warhawks are fifth.

Bates headed to Hannibal

Bourbon High School senior Kayleigh Bates (seated, center) officially signed a letter of intent to play softball at Hannibal-LaGrange University on November 6. She was joined at the ceremony by her mother, Shannon (left), and father, David (right), along with (back row, from left) Hannibal-LaGrange Softball Coach Dan Hurst, and Lady Warhawks Softball Coach Scott Farace. Kayleigh received a partial scholarship to attend the university and plans to study physical education and coaching.
