The Second Annual Battle in Bourbon Invitational Basketball Tournament, sponsored by FCNB Bank, wrapped up with the boys and girls final rounds played respectively last Friday and Saturday. Richland came away with the boys championship, while Belle won the girls title.
The Second Annual Battle in Bourbon Basketball Tournament, sponsored by First Community National Bank, is set to begin Monday at Bourbon High School. The tourney features a total of 16 teams with brackets for eight boys and eight girls teams.
Bourbon freshman Brennan Bouse finished 13th at the Class 2 District 2 cross country meet in St. Charles on October 30 to earn all-district honors and earn a spot at the Class 2 state finals. The Warhawks finished fifth as a team.
Coaches in the Class 2 District 7 volleyball tournament, which was held in Bourbon, have selected the all-district team. The majority of the team was made up of Gasconade Valley Conference players, including one from Bourbon.
The Bourbon Lady Warhawks dropped their opening-round match in the Class 2 District 7 volleyball tournament to top-seeded Belle Monday night to end their season. The BHS varsity girls went winless this season with a record of 0-16-1.
