The James Memorial Public Library (JMPL) is moving to a new online system aimed at adding more books for readers as well as making it easier for patrons to manage their accounts. JMPL is moving from Destiny to Missouri Evergreen and closed for a week in May to begin re-barcoding its collection.
The Tiger Shark Waterpark will officially open on June 3, after being delayed a few days due to inclement weather. The facility is planning a full summer of activities and staff are training this week in preparation.
